an absurd systems encounter

I continue to be fascinated by the absurdity scenes I encounter. Systems of operation become common place to their creators and participants to a point where, like aural fatigue, they are unable to objectively perceive their surroundings . To the lens of an outsider these systems are ridiculous and their logic opaque.
Disregarding it on first glance until my companion pointed out the MICPO label. This thing is named I thought as I began to film.
Documenting encounters inevitably reveals my own absurd processes. I film and edit with a consistent and habitual logic. That logic will likely not translate to others in the same way it reflects back to me. Just as MICPO’s creator could undoubtedly explain the purpose on its country-side lawn I can explain to you my choices of depicting the scene. Yet in my eyes MICPO’s purpose and logic is inconsequential and overwhelmed by initial reaction.
